The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star boasts considerable social media audience

Kai Trump will have plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions this year and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she can get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's an even better human being. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following the flow."

Kai will face several top competitors in the sport at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.

The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
