Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to meet with Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. He stated that he consulted warriors at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately 12 miles from the city.

Intense Situation in the Area

Updated analysis from a national effort indicated that invading troops had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it was not fully held by both forces. The conditions are severe, with updates indicating that opposition troops were digging in and building up positions in various sectors.

Russian forces are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within urban Pokrovsk.
